Our Directors

Lynne Drumm Dip COT HCPC

Based in County Durham

Diploma of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapists. Health Care Professions Council registered. Lynne is a member of the Society of Occupational Medicine and of Case Management Society UK. Based in County Durham.

Lynne qualified as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in 1986 and has worked as an independent practitioner for over 20 years and has extensive experience with both adults and children who have encountered major trauma including, acquired brain injury, complex orthopaedic trauma, spinal injuries and amputations. She also has extensive experience working with people with dementia, deteriorating neurological conditions and palliative care needs. Lynne specialises in recommendation for assistive equipment, housing and home adaptations, return to work planning and work based assessments. She also undertakes rehabilitation case management.

Lisa Harrison Bsc (Hons) OT HCPC

Based in Staffordshire

BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapists. Post Graduate Certificate in Neurological Condition Management, Health Care Professions Council registered. Based in Staffordshire.

Lisa qualified as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in 1996. She worked within NHS and Social Services in a variety of roles until establishing herself as an independent practitioner. Lisa has worked in independent practice for 14 years, specialising in vocational rehabilitation, OT in Occupational Health, case management and complex neurological rehabilitation. Lisa also has a wide range of experience with those clients with orthopaedic, spinal, pain, cognitive and mental health conditions. Lisa is presently vice-chair of the RCOT Specialist Section for Work and is a member of the Society of Occupational Medicine and of Case Management Society in the UK. Lisa is UK Functional Capacity Evaluation (UKFCE) trained, and has a high level of skill in assessing those with difficulties sustaining or returning to employment with health conditions. This can include fitness for work assessments and advice on job suitability. She has worked as a benefit assessor for Department of Work and Pensions and has significant experience in working with clients with neurological conditions, including brain injuries. Lisa is also able to undertake assessments for adaptations and complex equipment.

Amy

Occupational Therapist

Amy qualified as an OT in 2004. Amy has a clinical background in community based Occupational Therapy. Amy provides specialist assessment for provision of equipment and minor and major adaptations. She is also able to provide training and assistance with moving hand handling of people. She has worked with clients with a range of health conditions including complex physical health needs, learning disabilities, trauma and orthopaedics, palliative care and mental health conditions. Amy is approachable and quickly develops rapport with service users. She is highly motivated, enthusiastic and uses flexibility in her clinical approaches. Amy works well to deadlines, is committed to her role and is a conscientious team player.

Emma

Occupational Therapist

Emma is a highly specialist Occupational Therapist who qualified in 1994. Emma obtained a Masters degree in 2009. Emma has a clinical caseload and is also an associate lecturer on an undergraduate Occupational Therapy course and teaches on an MSc course in Vocational Rehabilitation. Emma has extensive clinical experience in ergonomics, vocational rehabilitation, and assessing those with disabilities for complex adaptations and housing needs. Emma is an excellent communicator and team player and is a skilled and experienced clinical and supervisor. Emma is experienced in working with a range of referrers and takes a holistic and functional approach to her assessments. She has excellent communication skills and highly developed report-writing skills. Emma is flexible, approachable and creative in her approach to delivering Occupational Therapy interventions.
